Hunan University of Chinese Medicine, a primarily teaching-oriented university competitive in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Accupuncture-Moxibustion and Tuina, has officially joined SICAS to allow International students to apply for programs online, of which MBBS in English predominates!

Hunan University of Chinese Medicine officially founded in 1960, by merging Hunan Chinese Medicine Specialization School established in 1934 and Hunan TCM Vocational School established in 1953. With the approval of the State TCM Administration Bureau,  university runs both short-term and long-term training programs for the TCM learners from all over the world, and besides it is the Clinical Skill Examining Base of China for the Overseas Medical Practitioner Qualification.

Though not on the list of Institutions and Scale of Enrollment for Undergraduate Clinical Medicine Programs Taught in English for International Students, 2010/2011, MBBS in English is more competitive in lower tuition fee compared with those on the list. Besides, HUTCM also offers Undergraduate Degree Programs to help students study the Simon-pure TCM, Acupuncture and Massage, Pharmacy and so on. Finally, the Chinese Language Program is open to overseas students as well.
