China Will Scrap the Quarantine Requirements for International Arrivals Since January 8, 2023

China National Health Commission (NHC) said in a statement on December 26, starting from January, China will scrap the quarantine requirements for international arrivals.

The new change is from January 8, before coming to China, passengers only need to take nucleic acid test within 48 hours negative certificate before boarding their flights to China. No need to apply for “Green Health Code”. After Arriving in China, nucleic acid screenings and quarantine will be canceled.

NHC also noted that China has renamed the novel coronavirus pneumonia as novel coronavirus infection. And China will also downgrade management of the disease from Class A to Class B.

At the same time, more flights will increase and the flight price will decrease . This is really good news for international students to who are planning to study in China and for students in second and third year who wanna come to study in Campus as soon possible.
