Teaching Courses: Spoken English for graduate students of engineering or bachelor students of business administration / English language, American Literature / Western Culture / English linguistics for bachelor students of the English language, Extensive Reading for graduate students of sciences, etc.

Over the past 52 years, it has grown into a comprehensive institution of higher learning, which is characterized by petroleum and chemical engineering with a combined course system ranging from engineering, science, economics, management, liberal arts, to laws. It has more than 12,000 students studying at different levels of doctoral programs, postgraduate programs, second-bachelor-degree programs, undergraduate program, and programs for higher education for overseas students together with adult learners. The faculty number totals 815 members, among whom are 412 professors, associate professors or advanced professional technicians.
