Zhejiang University Graduate Students Explore Mechanical Engineering Cooperation in Europe

A graduate team from Zhejiang University’s “Zhiyuan” mechanical engineering programme travelled to Poland in August for an international academic and industry exchange.

During the visit, the students toured Sany Poland’s operations in Warsaw and visited Wrocław University of Science and Technology for academic exchanges and laboratory visits. The programme connected postgraduate engineering education with industrial practice and international research.

According to Zhejiang University, the visit gave the students an opportunity to explore research, talent development and engineering challenges from different perspectives, while gaining a closer understanding of China-Europe cooperation in mechanical engineering.

Mechanical engineering beyond the classroom

For postgraduate students, studying mechanical engineering is not limited to lectures and laboratory work.

Industry visits and international academic exchanges can provide opportunities to see how engineering knowledge is applied in different working and research environments.
