Recently, the first "Z Generation" event was held. This event is an important measure taken by the School of Journalism of Renmin University of China to cultivate international communication talents in the new era. During the event, the international students of the training camp formed seven mixed-ethnic creative teams with some undergraduate and postgraduate students from the Journalism School of Renmin University of China. They respectively went to the Forbidden City, Tian'anmen Square, Jingshan Park, Imperial College and Confucius Temple, Ditan Park, Xianer Temple, etc., six significant locations along the "Beijing Central Axis" and conducted practical creative activities. The students, based on what they had learned in class and from the combination of an international perspective and local narrative, created new media works such as short videos and pictures.

In the future, the School of Journalism at Renmin University of China will continue to hold the "Generation Z" International Communication Training Camp for overseas students. It will also collaborate with other institutions to establish a long-term co-creation platform and invite more young international students to join.
