About NXMU
In September 1958, Ningxia Medical College was founded.
In October 1962, the former Ningxia Medical College, Ningxia Agricultural College and Ningxia Normal College were incorporated into Ningxia University, and Ningxia Medical College was renamed as School of Medicine of Ningxia University.
In May 1972, Shanghai Railway Medical College moved to Yinchuan, and combined with School of Medicine of Ningxia University to rebuild Ningxia Medical College.
In March 1980, Ningxia Medical College was approved for recruiting 1200 students by the State Council, including postgraduate, undergraduate, advanced students and premed students. Ningxia Medical College began to recruit postgraduate for the first time.
In November 2002, Ningxia Medical College, Ningxia Health School and Ningxia Nursing School were incorporated into new Ningxia Medical College.
In October 2006, the college passed the undergraduate teaching proficiency assessment of Ministry of Education.
In September 2007, the new campus was put into use.
In September 2008, the college was renamed as Ningxia Medical University on the fiftieth anniversary.
In February 2012, Ningxia Medical University was approved for construction of Doctorial Degree Conferring Unit
In April 2010, the university was awarded the honorary title of the first 50 national typical universities with graduate employment experience.
In March 2011, Ministry of Education approved that Shandong University and Ningxia Medical University were brought into the project of counterpart support to western institutions of higher learning. Shandong University has established counterpart assistance relationship with our university.
In December 2011, the university won the title of National Civilized Unit.
In July 2012, the university won the title of national advanced basic-level Party organization for the best performance.
Introduction
The CSC High-Level Graduates Program is a full scholarship program funded by the Ministry of Education of China, supporting Chinese universities to select outstanding international students to study in China. This program selects international students with excellent academic backgrounds, outstanding professional abilities, and future development potential to pursue master/PhD degree in our school based on the principles of individual application, institutional recommendation, expert review, and merit-based admission.

Full scholarship covers tuition fee, on-campus accommodation fee, medical insurance fee, and living expenses.

Eligibility
1. Non-Chinese citizens without criminal record, be in good physical and mental health with excellent academic performance, strong academic background, scientific research ability, and development potential.
2. Degree and age requirements: Applicants for master's degree should have obtained a bachelor's degree certificate or have equivalent academic qualifications, and under 35 years old. Applicants for doctoral degree should have obtained a master's degree certificate or have equivalent academic qualifications, and under 40 years old.
3. Language Requirements: Applicants applying for Chinese-taught programs or specialized master’s degree of clinical medicine should obtain a HSK 4 certificate. Applicants applying for English-taught programs should have an IELTS score of 6 or above or a TOEFL score of 70 (Internet-based) or above. Those who do not meet the Chinese language requirements shall take a one-year preparatory course of Chinese language in NXMU to meet HSK requirements above before embarking on their programs. Applicants whose mother tongue is English or whose entire previous educational stage was taught in English are exempted from proving their linguistic competence.
4. Not have received other types of scholarships at the same time.
Application Procedures
Online application on CSC system. Select program category as Type B. Select agency number of Ningxia Medical University:10752. Fill in the information, submit documents online and print the application form.
Application Documents List
1.Copy of passport home page. If the validity of the applicant's current passport does not meet the requirement, please apply for a new passport before submitting the application.
2.Notarized highest academic certificate. If the applicant is a recent graduate, he/she should submit a pre-graduation certificate issued by current school.
3.Transcripts (from undergraduate level). Scanned copies of transcripts should include the first to last semesters during the undergraduate, graduate (if any). Transcripts should be issued and stamped by the school's academic affairs office, graduate school, or relevant student management department.
4.Language qualification certificates. Applicants for Chinese-taught programs or specialized master’s degree of clinical medicine should submit valid HSK4 certificates in accordance with the corresponding Chinese proficiency requirements. Applicants for English-taught programs shall provide relevant language proficiency certificates according to the universities'requirements, like IELTS, TOFEL report or Language Certification of last degree.
5.Study plan. The content should include basic information about the individual application, personal statement, research results, research goals, and specific study plans (more than 1000 words), written in Chinese/English.
6.Recommendation letters. Two letters of recommendation(written only in Chinese or English) from professors or associate professors shall be submitted. These letters shall describe the applicant’s objectives of learning in China, comprehensive abilities, and evaluation of future growth.
7.A photocopy of the Foreigner Physical Examination Form completed in English (the original copy shall be kept by the applicant). The form is designed by the Chinese quarantine authority and can be obtained from the dispatching authority. The physical examinations must cover all the items listed in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. Incomplete records or those without the signature of the attending physician, the official stamp of the hospital, or a sealed photograph of the applicants are invalid. Please select the appropriate time to take a physical examination as the result is valid for only 6 months. See details in Attachment 2 (Scan the QR code at the end of the article to download).
8.Non-criminal record report. The applicant shall submit a valid certificate of non-criminal record issued by the local public security authority, usually issued within 6 months prior to the submission date of the application.
9.The published papers, award certificates or other supporting documents shall be uploaded through "works/other supporting materials".
Note: Uploaded supporting documents must be clear, authentic and valid. Applicants are recommended to use a professional device to scan the relevant documents. Applicants shall bear the consequences caused by unclear or unidentifiable uploaded materials. If there are any fraud in the application materials founded during the admission and registration, the application will be disqualified.
Admission Procedures
1.Initial Review. University will have an initial review of the applicant's identity, language ability, physical and mental conditions, etc.
2.Academic Review and Interview. When the applicants pass the initial review, university will arrange online interviews. The applicant will be notified of the application status, online interview time and other details by e-mail. School of International Education and relevant departments will conduct an academic review for applicants to comprehensively examine their academic background, scientific research ability, and innovation potential.
3.Proposed Admission. Based on the application and review situation, the proposed admission result will be released and qualified applicants will receive a conditional offer which needs to be uploaded to CSC system by themselves.
4.Final Admission. The university will submit the list of qualified applicants to CSC, the final admission result will be determined by CSC. The university will issue the Formal Admission Letter and Visa Application Form (JW201) for applicants who have been approved by CSC.
5.Registration date is the beginning of September annually and the exact time will be specified on the Admission Letter. Students should register at School of International Education, NXMU within the time period listed on the Admission Letter. Those who fail to register within the prescribed time will be canceled the admission.
Note: The school's review of applicants' qualifications runs through the entire process of admission. Once violations are discovered, the admission qualification will be immediately cancelled.
Annual Review
Scholarship holders MUST participate in annual scholarship evaluation. For those who fail to meet the requirements, the scholarship will be suspended or canceled.
Note
1.Applicants who immigrate from China to foreign countries, shall hold valid foreign passports or certificate of nationality documents for more than 4 years (including), and have a record of actual residence abroad for more than 2 years (the actual residence abroad for 9 months in a year can be calculated as one year, subject to the entry and exit signatures) in the last 4 years (before April 30 of the enrollment year). Applicants who meet the above conditions shall provide corresponding supporting documents and accept the examination of university.
2.Only Chinese or English texts are accepted for application documents. Texts in languages other than Chinese or English must be accompanied by a notarized Chinese or English translation.
3.Please pay attention to application system and personal email for viewing the application status.
4.Scholarship owners cannot transfer the university, major, or change study duration.
5.Regardless of being admitted or not, the application documents are non-return
