Project profile
The Chinese Government Scholarship "High-level Graduate" program is a full-time, full-scholarship program funded by the Chinese government for international students. In 2024, Beihang University-Chinese Government Scholarship "high-level graduate" program will start in September, 202, master's study period is 2 to 3 years, doctoral study period is 4 years.
Applicant qualification
1. Non-chinese citizens in good physical and mental health
2. Education and age requirements:
· Applicants for a master's degree should have a bachelor's degree or equivalent, have excellent academic records, and be under the age of 35
· Applicants for the doctoral degree should have a master's degree or equivalent, have excellent academic records, and be under the age of 40
3. Language proficiency requirements:
· Applicants for courses taught in Chinese should be at least HSK Level 4 in Chinese.
· Applicants for English-taught programs should have the appropriate proof of English language proficiency
Graduates from the QS Top 500 Universities and the Top 500 Soft World Universities are welcome to apply
Application time
Open for online applications and submissions: October 15, 2023
Online application and submission deadline: December 31, 2023 for the current open batch
Batch Three February 20, 2024
Due to the limited number of scholarships available, the school will conduct application review and pre-admission notification on a batch basis. Applicants are advised to submit online application and relevant application materials as soon as possible.
Application materials to be submitted
1. Application Form for Chinese Government Scholarship
2. First page of passport (valid later than September 2024)
3. Notarized certificate of highest academic qualification. If the applicant is a current student, he/she must submit an expected graduation certificate from his/her school
4. Academic transcripts (since undergraduate)
5. Proof of language ability:
· Applicants for courses taught in Chinese: They must provide HSK score reports within two years with at least HSK level 4
Applicants for English-taught programs must provide proof of English language proficiency within two years, such as IELTS or TOEFL transcripts. IELTS 6.0 or above, TOEFL90 or above, or Duolingo 105 or above. It is recommended to submit GRE scores at the same time (if any)
6. Letter of acceptance from tutor
7. Study plan in China
8. Two letters of recommendation from a professor or associate professor
9. Personal works (Applicants for art, design and other majors need to submit this)
10. The Foreigner Physical Examination Form and blood test report are valid for 6 months
11. Certificate of no criminal record (Certificate of no criminal record within the validity period issued by the local public security organ, usually within 6 months before the date of submission of the application)

1. The language of the above application materials shall be Chinese or English, or a notarized copy of English or Chinese translation shall be attached.
