Located Beijing and founded in 1941, Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU) is a key university directly affiliated with the Ministry of Education (MOE) of the People’s Republic of China. It is the first institution specializing in foreign language studies. Among the more than 7,000 registered BFSU students, there are approximately 1,000 international students. To date, BFSU has established extensive academic partnerships with 320 universities and educational institutions in 65 countries and regions of the world.
