International Master Degree Program in Software Engineering (in English)

Study requirements： Course study requirements: Total credits should be no less than 30, including 18 credits in core courses，and more than 12 credits in selective courses.

Internship requirements: Students should complete an internship of 0.5-1 year to participate in software system development, including designing, implementing, testing software system and project management. A successful internship is counted as 5 credits.

Thesis Requirements: Students should complete the writing of research proposal before starting the internship. The Master degree thesis and research work should be done according to the standards of The Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China and the thesis defense should be passed finally. An approved and successful thesis defend is counted as 5 credits. Compulsory Courses: Modern Software Engineering; Software Project Management; Software Test; Design and Analysis of Object-Oriented System Based on UML; Chinese Degree to be awarded: The student who has fulfilled all the courses and thesis requirements will be awarded the Master's Degree of Software Engineering of Tongji University.
