Why choose to study this program? The programs in International Economics and Trade and Business Management will expose students to research findings and approaches relevant to the disciplines. They will also expose students to key issues relevant to the disciplines at international levels. They offer formal studies in the Chinese language & culture and general economics and management areas during the first two years, giving them a broad language and business grounding before proceeding to more specialist studies of the international business environment and the management of international businesses in the following years.
The programs will be offered totally in English. Professors, faculty members and administrators communicate totally in English, and all teaching materials are provided in English. Students come from various countries, which creates a multi-cultural community to help students make cross-national friends and potential business partners in future career.

Shanghai International Studies University (SISU) was founded in December 1949 as the former Shanghai Russian College. It later was named the Shanghai Foreign Language Institute and became a national key university approved by the State Council in 1963. Approved by the Ministry of Education in 1994, it was officially renamed as “Shanghai International Studies University”. In the same year, it was listed as one of the first colleges and universities jointly supervised by the national Ministry of Education and the Municipality of Shanghai. Songjiang Campus
Introduction
A three-storey building built in 2001, is located on Songjiang Campus of SISU. Both double rooms and single rooms are available. Each room has an air-conditioner, a private bath, a telephone and a TV set.
Single room: RMB 100 per day.
1.Have a high school degree or above, and be between 18 and 35 years old.
2. Foreigners who are in good health, have a reliable financial support system in place, and have a guardian.
3. If both parents or one of the parents is a Chinese citizen and has settled abroad, and the individual was born with foreign nationality, starting from 2021, students applying to enter our higher education institutions for undergraduate or junior college studies as international students must, in addition to meeting the other admission requirements of the school, also hold a valid foreign passport or nationality certificate for 4 years (inclusive) or more, and have a record of actual residence in a foreign country for 2 years or more within the last 4 years (up to April 30 of the year of admission).
4. If you have ever studied or lived in China, you must not have any record of illegal or disciplinary violations.
1) Graduation certificate and academic transcript (original or notarized copy, should be in Chinese or English). Fresh graduates can provide the original of the expected graduation certificate.
2) Copy of HSK certificate.
3) Proof of study experience in Chinese and related fields, original transcripts or notarized copies, in either Chinese or English (for transfer students only).

5) If graduating from a high school within China, copies of the parents' passports are required.
