ENROLL IN CHINA

Entry Requirements

1. At least 18 years of age, generally not more than 30 years of age (born before September 1, 1995);

2. Non-chinese citizens holding valid foreign ordinary passports,

Chinese citizens who apply for admission to colleges and universities as foreign students after immigration must hold a valid foreign passport or nationality certificate for more than 4 years (inclusive), and have a record of actual residence abroad for more than 2 years within the last 4 years (before April 30 of the year of enrollment) (actual residence abroad for more than 9 months in a year can be counted as one year, Subject to entry and exit signature);

3. Fresh high school graduates or have a high school diploma, high school performance is good;

4. Language proficiency: HSK Level 4 for Chinese-taught majors, TOEFL 80 or IELTS 5.5 for English-taught majors;

5. No criminal record, no history of drug abuse;

6. In good health, no major infectious diseases.


Application Materials

1. Certificate photo (recent 2-inch bareheaded photo);

2. Scanned copy of the first page of the passport (ordinary passport, valid after October 31, 2025);

3. Passport visa page (required for students already in China);

4. Notarized high school graduation certificate or pre-graduation certificate must be stamped with the official seal of the school:

(1) Fresh high school graduates submit a pre-graduation certificate issued by their school,

   (2) senior high school students who have graduated submit their high school diploma;

5. Scanned copy of notarized transcript:

(1) Fresh high school graduates submit transcripts during the school years,

(2) Students who have graduated from high school submit complete transcripts of high school;

(3) High school test scores or internationally accepted standardized test scores, such as UEC/A Level/ AP/IB/ SAT/ACT, etc.;

6. Proof of language proficiency within the validity period:

(1) Applicants for Chinese-taught programs are required to submit HSK Level 4 certificate.

(2) Applicants for English-taught programs are required to submit TOEFL IBT or IELTS transcripts with a score of 80 or above on TOEFL IBT and 5.5 or above on IELTS.

 Applicants who have taken English as the language of instruction in senior high school may present a language of instruction certificate issued by the senior high school as a substitute;

7. Physical Examination Form for foreigners:

8. Proof of no criminal record (within 6 months);

9. Declaration of no history of drug use;

10. Proof of financial ability: deposit certificate sufficient to cover reasonable expenses of study, living and international travel during the period of study in China (at least the equivalent amount of tuition for one semester should be held);

11. Study plan: no less than 1000 words. Applicants for Chinese-taught programs should write in Chinese; applicants for English-taught programs should write in English;

12. Students who have studied in China must provide proof of their studies in their original school;

13. Other supporting materials (published papers, social work certificates, volunteer activity certificates, etc.) can be uploaded to the registration system
