The School of International Education at Northwest University aims to cultivate high-quality international innovative talents with Chinese sentiment, Silk Road spirit, global vision, and promote the exchange and mutual learning of diverse civilizations, building a community with a shared future for mankind. It has trained more than 20000 international students from over 60 countries. The school has set up six international student internship practice and innovation bases in Xi'an Port District, Xi'an Aiju Grain and Oil Industry Group, Xi'an Qujiang New Area Talent Exchange Center, Xi'an Fengdong Free Trade Xintiandi and other institutions. Through the school enterprise cooperation mode of "international students into enterprises" and "entrepreneurs into the classroom", the school has jointly cultivated "the Belt and Road" composite international talents, and has recruited and cultivated more than 600 international students for school enterprise cooperation. Over the years, the college has trained a large number of international students who are knowledgeable and friendly to China, and are active in different fields on the international stage, including members of the House of Representatives of Kazakhstan, Italian sinologists, officials from the US and Thai embassies in China, and translators from various countries. In recent years, the college has built an archeological team for overseas students of the "the Belt and Road Initiative", a translation team for Chinese and foreign teachers and students, set up a group of star typical teams, and achieved the comprehensive development of international students. A group of growing academic talents, entrepreneurial talents, and Chinese culture communicators, especially international students from the "the Belt and Road Initiative" countries, have been interviewed and reported by various media at all levels such as CCTV for many times.
