CHAPTER I GENERAL PROVISIONS
Article 1: In order to encourage outstanding students to apply to our school and motivate them to study hard, be proactive, and be innovative after enrollment, we have established a scholarship for undergraduate freshmen and formulated this method.
Article 2: These measures apply to outstanding undergraduate freshmen who have been admitted to our university and registered on time, including students from Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, and international students.
Chapter 2 Scholarship
Article 3: The school promises not to let any student drop out of school due to financial difficulties, and has specially established a scholarship to ensure the normal study and life of students and help them successfully complete their studies.
Article 4: The scholarship is divided into 5 levels, with specific standards of full tuition, 3/4 tuition, 1/2 tuition, 1/4 tuition, and a living allowance of 2500 yuan per month.
Article 5: After admission, students may apply to the admissions team based on their family's financial situation.
Chapter 3 Scholarship
Article 6 Scholarship Types
Principal Scholarship, Red Bird Scholarship, Excellence Scholarship, Outstanding Scholarship, Outstanding Scholarship
Article 7: Candidates may apply to the admission team after the announcement of their college entrance examination results (the specific evaluation criteria for scholarships shall be subject to the notification of each admission team of our university).
Article 8: If students meet the requirements for multiple scholarships, they will be eligible for the Gaoyuan Scholarship, and the scholarships will not be stacked.
Article 9: Scholarships are only awarded to students during their undergraduate studies at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou), with a maximum award period of 4 years; Bachelor's and master's degree programs, as well as direct undergraduate and doctoral students, are only awarded at the undergraduate level; There are scholarships (PGS) available for master's and doctoral studies.
Article 10: The scholarship notice shall be issued together with the admission notice.
Article 11: Students who obtain scholarship eligibility through fraudulent means will have their scholarship eligibility revoked once discovered and verified.
Article 12: Students who have achieved an average score of 3.0 or above per academic year and have not engaged in any illegal or irregular behavior are eligible to receive the same category of scholarship in the following academic year; If a student's grades do not meet this requirement, or if they receive any illegal or disciplinary action, their scholarship for the next academic year will be suspended.
Chapter 4 Evaluation of Scholarships and Grants
Article 13: The scholarship for undergraduate freshmen shall be reviewed and evaluated by the Student Scholarship Committee.
CHAPTER V SUPPLEMENTARY PROVISIONS
Article 14: These measures shall be implemented starting from the undergraduate students of Class 2024, and the school has the right to adjust and make final decisions based on the actual situation.
