Master of Business Administration (MBA)

Northeastern University (NEU) is one of China’s most prominent universities focusing on engineering and is designated as one of the national key schools. It has established an academic exchange relationship with 152 universities and institutions in 31 countries and regions, and has invited over 2000 overseas experts to teach, give lectures and cooperate in study at NEU. Software Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechnical Engineering, Electrical Engineering are all excellent English-Medium courses available there. NEU has made headway in some of the newly rising and cross-disciplinary disciplines. At present, NEU enrolls more than 1,400 international students. SICAS ranks it a five-star university.

In recent years, with a strong focus on scientific research, the School has improved its research capability significantly. Over 120 high-quality academic papers are published annually. High social reputation

In 2005, the School funded the construction of Inner Mongolia Kezuozhongqi MBA Hope Primary School. Through this charity event, MBA students’ sense of social responsibility was nurtured. In the same year, survey of "The Most Valuable Business Schools in China" by Forbes showed that the average annual salary of Northeastern University graduates was 135 thousand RMB, ranking 28th in China. In 2008, the Ninth China MBA Development Forum was successfully held by the School. In June 2011, “The Revitalization of Old Industrial Base in Northeastern Region – MBA Alumni Entrepreneur Forum” was held by the School. At the forum, famous MBA education experts, government officials and MBA alumni discussed the positive role MBA education plays in developing old industrial base in northeast region. Northeastern University is located in Shenyang, Liaoning Province, which occupied an area of 2030,000 square meters and an architectural area of 1000,000 square meters, is situated on the north bank of the Hun He River and close to the South Lake.The university is one of China"s high level universities designated for the state key construction of the "211 Project" and "985 Project".
 
Facilities & Faculties 
NEU consists of Qinghuangdao Branch, Graduate School, 19 schools and Department of Physical Education. There are 2463 teachers and researchers, 5 academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chinese Academy of Engineering, 9 members of the Discipline Evaluation Board of the State Council, 353 tutors of ph. D student, 424 professors. There are 2925 ph. D students, 5928 graduate students, 25793 undergraduate students. NEU has 66 majors; it has the right to confer Master Degrees in 181 subjects, besides MBA, MPA and Engineering Master; to confer Doctor Degree in 100 subjects. There are 3 national key disciplines of First Class Discipline and 4 national key disciplines of Second Class Discipline, 15 Post-Doctor Stations, 4 National Engineering (Technology) Research Centers, 3 key State-level laboratory. There are 1 National base of College Student Quality-oriented Education and 1 national engineering and mechanical teaching base in engineering basic courses.

Achievements
Since the 11th "five year plan", NEU has taken on 5600 research projects of national natural fund, national key fundamental research, develop and planning (973project), national high-tech research develop planning (863 project), national technology research, war industry and the cooperation research with enterprises. In 2006, the number of national awards of scientific and technical payoffs of NEU were ranked 6th among the universities in China. NEU has won 180 awards of the state, province and ministry, among which there is one first prize of the national technology progress award and two second prizes. NEU has published over 18424 papers on national and international academic journals and conferences. There are 10479 papers of NEU in the world top three search systems.

· Double room: 25 RMB per person per day with bathroom, telephone, television, broadband network, refrigerator, kitchen, water heater.

· Double room: 35 RMB per person per day with bathroom, telephone, television, broadband network, refrigerator, kitchen, water heater, air conditioning.

· Single room: 40 RMB per person per day with bathroom, telephone, television, broadband network, refrigerator, kitchen, water heater, air conditioning.

In addition, students can live outside campus. In Shenyang City, the rent of two-bedroom is about 1000-2000 RMB.

2. Board Fees

The expenses on food are about 800-1500 RMB per month. (It depends on the students' personal consumption ability.)

3 Steps to Apply to a Chinese University

1.Applicants must be non-Chinese in good health.

2.Applicants must have bachelor degree or will get bachelor degree by September 2015.

3.Proficiency in English or Chinese, such as valid IELTS/TOEFL/TOEIC score in English or valid HSK score in Chinese, or other qualified certification materials.
