Jiangsu University, established in 1902, lies in the famous historical and cultural city of Zhenjiang. It features engineering and has the most famous English-medium MBBS courses in China. Engineering in Medical Technology (EMT), International Economy and Trade (IET), Agricultural Machinery and Engineering (AME) and BBA are also available in English. Why UJS MBA?

The MBA supports promotion and progression within existing careers. It is also an opening to a change in future career direction. Our MBA will improve students’ effectiveness as a manager or leader and will transform their prospects for rising up the corporate ladder. The course aims to develop individual strengths in leadership, creativity, entrepreneurship, self-knowledge and working with others in the contexts of stability, uncertainty and change. Students will also develop skills in the use of appropriate technology for analysis and communication. The course has been designed with input from employers from large to small firms, from both the public and private sectors. Programs Features

This course has the following features: guest speakers access to conferences held at Jiangsu University careers advice and assistance with CV preparation and job applications from both internal department and external recruitment consultants access to databases which will provide information on national and international job opportunities.

Teaching Objective

Throughout the MBA program, you will be encouraged to learn through a range of teaching and learning methods. Formal contact sessions will involve a high degree of participation, with group activities continuing outside the classroom as you and your fellow students work together on case studies (some of which will involve employers providing the raw material) and exercises. You will be expected to use your work experience as an integral part of the learning process.

Coursework

Detailed knowledge in a selected topic will be assessed via a supervised dissertation.

Exams

There will be a combination of assessed program work, examinations, individual and group presentations for the taught modules.

Zhenjiang is a dynamic and beautiful city, shaped by over 3,000 years of myths, legends and profound history. History


In history, Zhenjiang was one of the origins of Wu culture, and produced a large number of celebrated scientists, literators and historians. Zhenjiang's culture has been very attractive for both Chinese and foreigners. Marco Polo, a famous Italian writer of The Travels of Marco Polo, studied Chinese culture and Chinese political systems in Zhenjiang many years. Pearl S. Buck, the famous American woman writer who was awarded the Nobel Prize for literature in 1938, spent her childhood, adolescence and youth in Zhenjiang, therefore, most of her works were stamped with the influence of local culture.

Accommodation


Introductions 

Jiangsu University is located in Zhenjiang in Jiangsu province,and is generally consisted of four campuses: main campus of jiangsu university, MengXi campus, North campus and zhongshan campus. All the international students can live in campus.

You need not to book in advance, Because the school will arrange for you. Moreover, all the students can live in the double room. In the dorm room: there are furniture, telephone, air conditioning, internet, hot water, toilet, kitchen, public utilities and washing machines in the dormitory. The bedding should be bought and it cost 400RMB. There will be staff in charge of cleaning public area.
