Why us

In recent 5 years, the faculty have undertaken 2,202 scientific research programs at different levels and of different categories, including 153 national programs: 4 major programs and 1 integration program in major research plan from the National Natural Science Foundation, 2 major key projects of the Ministry of Education, 3 key specialized projects of the national key research and development program from the Ministry of Science and Technology, and 3 major consulting projects from the Chinese Academy of Engineering. Especially the National Basic Science Center of "Resource and Environmental Management Theory and Application in the Era of Digital Economy" led by our university was approved, achieving zero breakthrough in this field in Hunan province. The number of national, provincial and ministerial-level research projects conducted by our university is among the best in general colleges and universities in Hunan province. 2,362 papers have been published, including over 600 academic papers published in authoritative journals at home and abroad, such as “Nature”, “Management World”, “Science China“, “Economic Research Journal” and “Journal of Management Sciences in China”; more than 80 highly cited papers in the top 1% of ESI. 222 monographs have been published and 265 projects have been carried out in collaboration with enterprises and public institutions.
