Business Management

Situated in Dalian, one of the most European-style coastal city in China, Dongbei University of Finance and Economics (DUFE) has a long history of more than 50 years. It's a multidisciplinary, teaching-and-research-oriented university focusing on economics, management and ranked the third best financial university of China. Meanwhile, DUFE has always payed attention to international cooperation, providing English-taught courses including International Business Management(IBM), International Trade and Tourism Management of master and bachelor's degree etc.. And so far, it has established friendly cooperative relations with 75 universities and one international agency from 18 different countries or regions.

Thiscourse will enable students to understand how firms become and remain international in scope. They will learn to apply management theories and techniques important in an increasingly multinational business environment. New research findings, case studies and comparative perspectives on the management of internationally operating firms will help students to understand these issues in more detail, and that the local adaptation of business and management concepts developed elsewhere is crucial. Thiscourse aims to prepare students for careers requiring global business awareness and to develop skills required to work in internationally operating companies and organizations. It provides the students with many opportunities, both to apply the theoretical knowledge acquired during the modules, and to develop a more in-depth understanding of common problems emerging in an international business environment. It is especially suitable for those students interested in international trade, international business and management, international human resource management and marketing.

Introduction

IICLC provides international students with comfortable dormitories. Overseas Student Dormitory accommodates single rooms and suites equipped with land line, internet access, cable and a bathroom (24 hours hot water available). Each floor of the building has a study room, a shared kitchen and a laundry room. Off-campus residence is also available. IICLC office may provide house leasing information.

3 Steps to Apply to a Chinese University

1. High School Graduate : Senior High School Diploma
2. Age between 18 and 50
3. Good command of English: Non-native English speakers usually need to score the IELTS tests at least 5.0 (or TOFEL 61) or equivalent. Applications may choose to take the DUFE English Exam as an alternative to the IELTS test. Native English speakers are generally exempt from the English language requirements and only need to meet the Academic Requirements described in section A

1. Graduation certificate of high school and high school transcript
2. Certificate of HSK test
3. Foreigner Physical Examination Form completed by a public hospital in home country (or  health check-up can be conducted upon arrival in China).
4. Photocopy of passport
5. One passport-sized photo
