Accommodation and Service
All
the international students can live in the International Students Apartment on
campus. There are two types of room: single room and two-bed room. These two
kinds of room are equipped with the independent toilet, air-conditioning, desk
and chair, wardrobe , laundry and bedding items. It also offers broadband
internet access and landline.

The applicant must be over 18 years old (inclusive) and under 45 years old (inclusive), in good health, comply with the relevant provisions of the "Nationality Law of the People's Republic of China", and be a non-Chinese citizen holding a valid foreign ordinary passport.
2. According to the document No. 12 issued by the Ministry of Education (Educational Department Letter [2020] 12), it is stipulated:
If both or one of the applicant's parents is a Chinese citizen and has settled abroad, and the applicant was born with foreign nationality, they must present a valid foreign passport or nationality certificate for a period of 4 years (inclusive) or more. Moreover, they must have a record of actual residence in a foreign country for at least 2 years during the last 4 years (from April 30, 2021 to April 30, 2025). One year of actual residence in a foreign country can be counted as one year, based on the entry and exit stamps.Academic qualifications must meet the following conditions:
(1) Graduating high school students. They must obtain a high school graduation certificate before the year of admission in the same year; otherwise, their admission qualification will be invalid.
(2) Individuals who already have a high school graduation certificate.
The applicant's Chinese language proficiency must meet the requirements for professional study:
The Chinese International Education major requires a HSK 4 level score of 180 points, while other majors require a Chinese language proficiency of at least HSK 5 level with a score of 180 points.
1. Personal Photos: Please upload a standard two-inch color photo with a white or blue background. Do not upload black-and-white photos, artistic photos, or self-portraits.
2. Passport Information Page: You must submit a scanned copy of the information page from your ordinary passport that is valid until after January 31, 2026. If the current validity of your passport does not meet the requirements, please promptly renew it. For applicants who cannot obtain a passport before submitting the application due to objective reasons, please contact our school as soon as possible to confirm the alternative supporting documents.
3. Proof of Highest Education: Applicants who have graduated from high school should upload their "highest education certificate (graduation certificate)". For current high school graduates, upload the "expected graduation certificate", which must be issued by the school and should include the enrollment date, expected graduation date, etc.; if the "enrollment certificate" issued by the school contains the above information, it can be used as an alternative.
4. Transcripts of All Courses Completed During the Highest Education Stage: Please upload the complete transcripts from the first year of high school to the current application date. The transcripts should be stamped by the school or signed by the relevant responsible person. When submitting the transcripts, it is recommended to also provide a description of the grades (including but not limited to the calculation method of GPA and the grading system for course grades).
5. HSK Certificate: The validity period of HSK scores is two years (counting from the date of the examination).
6. Personal Statement: Please write in Chinese. The content should include your personal study plan, no more than 800-1000 words, and it must be signed by the applicant himself/herself.
7. A Recommendation Letter: In either Chinese or English, indicate the name of the recommender's workplace, position, and contact information. The recommender must sign the letter in person. If the applicant is unable to upload the recommendation letter, please provide the relevant supporting materials in the "Recommendation Letter" section and have the recommender directly send the letter to ices@sufe.edu.cn.
8. Criminal Record Certificate: A valid criminal record certificate issued by the local public security authority must be submitted. Generally, it should be a document issued within the past 6 months prior to the application date.
9. Economic guarantee certificate and guarantor's identification document: The economic guarantor must be a natural person with full capacity for civil conduct, over 18 years old, and with a stable source of income; the economic guarantor must fill out the "Economic Guarantee Certificate" (economic guarantee certificate.pdf) truthfully and provide a scanned copy of the original passport cover page (for foreigners) or ID card (for Chinese citizens) of the guarantor.
