Shanghai Foreign Hospital in Shanghai
The Chinese authorities have designated the following hospitals in Shanghai as permitted to provide medical care for the foreign community. These hospitals normally have specially designated wards and personnel. English is the usual language of communication. Other hospitals in Shanghai will treat foreign patients, but only in emergencies.

SICAS Comments:A medium-sized general hospital. Offers most adult specialities except obstetrics and gynaecology, but does not have a paediatric department. The foreigners' ward is on the 19th floor.
