Located Beijing and founded in 1941, Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU) is a key university directly affiliated with the Ministry of Education (MOE) of the People’s Republic of China. Founded in 2001, in today's social change driven by science and technology, the major closely follows the market demand and industrial trends, and is committed to moving in the direction of globalization, frontier and science, with the goal of cultivating global-oriented e-commerce digital operation and innovation elite talents. Since 2018, the professional construction of e-commerce has focused on "e-commerce (digital operation and innovation)". The main discipline of this major is management science and engineering. The degree awarded is a Bachelor of Management Studies. The duration of study is 4 years, and the length of study is 3-6 years. Implement the major and minor system, and e-commerce students can minor in another major at the same time as the major within the number of years of study; This program has an honorary bachelor's degree, and the conditions for obtaining it are shown in the 2020 version of the training plan "Course Setting and Credit Time Allocation Schedule".

BFSU-Sol Bridge students enjoy the convenience of dormitories located on and nearby Beijing Foreign Studies University campus, a short walk away form classrooms and cafeterias. Our recently renovated dormitories are comfortable and clean. Students have the option of choosing among different styles and designs in accommodation and whether or not they prefer to share a room.

On-Campus Accommodation

Four dormitory buildings, located on the Beijing Foreign Studies University campus, are allocated for international students. They are the Guojiao Building on the east campus, the White Building, Building 6 and Building 7 on the west campus. All the rooms are equipped with air-conditioner, television set, telephone, desk and chair, bed and bedding. High-speed Internet Facilities and services are available in dormitory rooms and are provided at a nominal charge.

Off-Campus Accommodation

The off-campus dormitory is located a 15 minute walk from the BFSU-SolBridge campus. All rooms are equipped with air-conditioner, heater, telephone, Internet access, a balcony, bed and bedding, desk and chair. The dormitory complex also houses a cafeteria, convenience store and a bank. Transportation is very convenient and a bus to campus, or elsewhere, stops right outside the dormitory gates.

3 Steps to Apply to a Chinese University

1. Completed recognized upper secondary or equivalent Year 12 studies to the required standard

2. Satisfied English language requirements. Undergraduate applicants who provide TOEFL scores of at least 79 Internet-based (IBT) or an IELTS overall band score of at least 6.0 or TOEIC scores of 750 will be considered for regular admission.

3. Above 18 years old

1.Photocopy of valid passport
With photo, passport number &expiration date and name included.

2.Passport-sized photo
A passport-sized photo taken recently of the applicant.

3.Graduation certificate of high school
Graduation certificate should be in Chinese or English.If not, it should be translated into Chinese or English and be notarized.

4.Academic transcript of high school

5.Certificate of English proficiency test
IELTS or TOEFl will only be required if the applicant is not a native English speaker.

6.Personal Statement
