Shenyang Urban Construction University, formerly known as Urban Construction College of Shenyang Jianzhu University, was founded in July 2000, and it has been approved as a formal independent university by the Ministry of Education in 2013.The university is a full-time undergraduate school that mainly trains application-oriented talents, with more than 13000 undergraduate and junior college students.

The campus is located in the beautiful, historic and cultured city— Shenyang. The university lies in the centre of Hunnan district of “university town” which consists of multiple universities— Shenyang Institute of Science and Technology, Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Xinglin College, Northeastern University, Shenyang Sport University. Liaoning Provincial Library, Liaoning Science and Technology Museum, and Liaoning Provincial Museum are also within the area. Training objectives: Students acquire knowledge regarding architectural design, urban planning, urban design, interior design, architectural engineering design through systematic learning, accept basic training on architectural design, and have basic competence in project planning, building scheme design and construction drawings. This program aims to cultivate senior engineering and technical personnel engaged in architectural design, urban design, interior design and architectural theory research.

Main courses: Fundamentals of Architectural Design, Principles of Architectural Design, Architectural Design, Chinese and Foreign Architecture History, Urban Design, Interior Design, Architectural Physics, Architectural Structure, Architectural Construction, Construction Equipment, Construction Economics, Computer-aided Design, etc.

Courses with Chinese Cultural Characteristics: Chinese traditional writing, Chinese cooking, Chinese diet and culture, Chinese mask-painting, paper-cut, teaism, Tai Chi, Chinese martial, traditional musical instrument, the appreciation of Chinese traditional architecture, etc.

Employment Orientation: After graduation, students can work in the departments of architectural design, planning design and management, or building research institute, real estate enterprises and other enterprises and organizations related to the architectural design, city design, and interior design.

3 Steps to Apply to a Chinese University

According to Liaoning Province Government Requirement: Graduation certificate in languages other than Chinese should be translated into Chinese and be certified by notarization. If you can not find translation organization, please contact CUCAS. Graduation certificate must be certified by the Chinese Embassy (Consulate) in your country or notarized by a notary office in China.

According to Liaoning Province Government Requirement: academic transcript in languages other than Chinese should be translated into Chinese and be certified by notarization.
