3 Steps to Apply to a Chinese University

1. Applicants should be non-Chinese citizens, hold valid foreign passports, friendly to China and without criminal records;

2. Should be in good health condition based on the Foreign Students Physical Examination Standards by the Ministry of Education;

3. Abide by the law in China and regulations of the university, and respect Chinese customs and habits;

4. Graduate from senior high schools or above (equals to six-grade of middle school) and get good grades;

5. Have good English or Chinese proficiency level;
6. Generally should be over 18-year old and under 25-year-old;
7. Should enter China with X1 Visa;

1.Application Form for International Student;
2.High school diploma and transcripts (all must be stamped with official seal);
3.Passport personal information page;
4.Foreigner Physical Examination Form uniformly printed by the Chinese health and quarantine department and must be completed in English. The will be invalid if has incomplete records, without sealed photo of the applicant or without the signature and seal of the physician and the hospital;
5. Passport photos with white background (digital one);
6.Non-criminal record;
7.Bank certificate of deposit (at least 5,000 USD);
8. Language proficiency proof documents: students from non-English speaking countries who apply English-taught major should provide English Proficiency Test Scores; students who apply to enter Chinese students first-grade class should provide HSK 4 or above certificate;
9. Letter of Entrustment from parents or guardian. International students under 18 years old should provide it. The Letter of Entrustment must be notarized;
9.  Certificate of study and daily performance from your school. Students applying for transfer from other schools in China must provide;
11. University entrance examination transcripts (if any);
12. The latest visa to China or residence permit in China (if any). If you conceal your experience in China, which will affect the admission and registration and shall bear responsibility by yourselves.
