The International Hospitality Management (in English)(Autumn) at Weifang University is a 4 Years long program for international students, taught in Chinese.

WFU has more than 2100 staff among 21 teaching institutions. The university has 60 specialties in natural sciences, engineering, literature, economics, law, history, education, literature, management and agriculture. Students totaling over 22,000 come from 30 different provinces, municipalities or autonomous regions. WFU has always been active in international cooperation and exchanges. Friendly academic exchanges and cooperation relations have been established with universities in the Korea, Japan, USA, Canada, Britain and Austria. The university is active in international cooperation and exchange. Different universities from South Korea, Japan, US, Canada, Britain and Austria have established sister-relationship with WFU. From 2001 WFU was qualified to accept international students, over 200 international students from US, South Korea, Japan, Thailand, Malaysia and other countries have studied in WFU.

Program Objectives

Designed to meet the needs of international hotel industry, this BSc program gives the students both in-depth knowledge in hotel management and a broader range of transferable skills that can be applied to a variety of hotel supervisory and managerial roles.

Faculty
Faculty of Hotel Management (FHM)was founded in 1983.Over the past thirty years, the FHM has worked at the boundaries of theory and practice. FHM has maintained a good reputation in teaching and research on hotel management in China. Our academic staff have a wide range of research interests and have been involved in many research projects sponsored by government annd private agencies.
Length, Credits and Degree
The length of curriculum is four years. Minimum credits for graduation: 130 credits.
Qualified students will be granted Bachelor degree of Management in International Hotel Management.
Instruction Language
■ All the courses are delivered in English except some of Chinese language courses.

■ Dissertation is required to be written in English

About Weifang University

Accommodation


Accommodation: International students are free to choose to live in either international students’ apartment or Chinese students’ apartment. 


The international students’ apartment is in the middle of dormitory area and with a safe and beautiful environment around. Inside the apartment there was one double room, one single room, and one living room which  offer bed, wardrobe, desk, chair, sofa, TV, Telephone, internet access, air-conditioner, washing machine, water heater for shower, fridge, microwave oven, hearth, gas furnace hearth and other living facilities.  Students can choose the room style as they like and they can cook for themselves here. Dormitory fee: single room 900 RMB/month; double room 500 RMB/month per person.
