Approved by the China Ministry of Education in 2003, Chifeng University was founded as a public, full time and comprehensive undergraduate university by the combination of the Chifeng Normal College of Nationalities and other four academies. It is located in Chifeng City, the birthplace of the world-famous Hong Shan Cultures. The city boasts profound cultures with time honored history, distinctive scenic spots and rich literal human resources, which is the famous tourism city of China.

Degree Awarded

Students are required to complete the curriculum and course, fulfill the designated number of credits.Successful candidates will receive a graduation certificate along with the bachelor's degree, in accordance to the regulation of the Degree Awarding Committee.

The Zhaowuda Union Health School founded in 1958 is the predecessor of the Chifeng University Medical College (CUMC). July 1962 changed its name to Inner Mongolia Chifeng health schools. In 1966 the school moved to new premises. After half a century of development and training thousands of graduates in April 2003 School merged with Chifeng University and become CUMC The Medical College has 1793 undergraduate and junior college students. It has 642 professional and technical people, 139 full-time teachers including 104 undergraduate degree, 17 master's degree, 1 doctor, and 2 PhD,and 9 part-time professors.

Accommodation Fee

Foreign students are living in dormitories, especially designed for foreign students. Living in these dormitories is a great way to make friends from all over the world. In every dormitory there is staff present 24 hours a day in order to help and support, should there be any problems.
Normally, foreign students share a room with another foreign student. If students wish to do so, they can live by themselves, but then they will have to pay a double accommodation fee.

Single room: 2.5 USD/day (more than 3months)
                        3 USD/day (less than 3months)
Double room: 1.5 USD/day (more than 3months)
                         2 USD/day (less than 3months)
