Statistics

The School of Mathematics and Statistics has two majors, namely, Mathematics and Applied Mathematics, Statistics，three subordinate teaching and research centers focusing on Function, Geometric Algebra, and Probability Statistics & Mathematical Statistics. It also has one Practicum Office, one Career Design Office and an Economic Mathematics Research Group. The school currently comprises 28 faculty members. More than 10 of the staff members are professors, associate professors or teachers with doctor degree.

In recent years, many papers have been published on authoritative periodicals such as SCI, Acta Mathematical Sinica. The students have won many prizes in the Mathematics Competition and the competitions of Mathematical Construction Models as well as in the national competitions.

B.A. Statistics

Objectives: The Statistic specialty aims to cultivate practical talented students with a high comprehensive quality to meet the need of the construction of the Socialist Market Economy and the need of other fields concerned with economy and finance.

Object: Four-year Bachelor of Economics Degree

Main courses: Mathematics Analytics, Advanced Algebra, Ordinary Differential Equation, Real Variable Function and Complex Variable Function, Mathematical Modeling/Experimentation, Operations Research, Probability Theory, Mathematical Statistic, Description Statistics, Applied Stochastic Processes, Multivariate Statistical Analysis and Application Software, Time Series Analysis, Macro-Economics, Micro-Economics, National Economy Statistics, Regression Analysis, Sample Investigation, Experimental Design.

Nanjing Audit University (NAU) is the only financial and economical university bearing the name “audit” in China and it is the birthplace of China’s higher education for auditing.

 Applicant is under the age of 25, and is in good health, high-school graduate with good marks. The HSK score should reach level 3 or above

     A passport-sized photo taken recently of the applicant.

3.   HSK Certificate (No need for English-taught program)

     Level 3or above 

4.   Academic transcript of high school

5.   Graduation certificate of high school

Gradution certificate should be in Chinese or English.If not,it should be translated into Chinese or English and be notarized.
