SUT is authorized for the conferment of Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree and Doctor' Degree. 5 first-level disciplines and 17 second-level disciplines are authorized for the conferment of Doctor' Degree, and 71 second-level disciplines for the conferment of Master's Degree.

Education System: four years

Students who are eligible to obtain a bachelor's degree and undergraduate diploma must successfully complete the prescribed credits delivered by Major Cultivation Program and pass the undergraduate dissertation.

Shenyang University of Technology (SUT), situated in Shenyang-a key modern city in the northeast, is an engineering oriented comprehensive university, with its subjects covering such seven areas, as engineering, science, economy, management, liberal arts, laws and philosophy. The predecessor Shenyang Mechanical and Electrical Engineering College founded in 1949 was renamed SUT in 1985, and it used to be affiliated with the State Ministry of Mechanical Industry. It was built by the central government and the local government since 1998, mainly managed by Liaoning Province.

The school does not provide on-campus accommodation.

In order to grasp the information of international students in time, cooperate with government departments, publicize and track the accommodation procedures of off-campus students, these regulations are formulated in accordance with the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Administration of the Entry and Exit of Foreigners, the Regulations on the Administration of Accepting Foreign Students in Institutions of Higher Learning and the relevant regulations of Shenyang Public Security Bureau, and the conditions of our university.

1. Students should first provide a copy of the lease contract to the office of the International Students' Study in China to ensure that the housing source is reliable and the leasing procedures are complete and legal.

2. After review by the Office of the Department of Overseas Studies in China, students shall truthfully fill in the Registration Form for Off-campus Accommodation of Shenyang University of Technology (in duplicate) and follow the procedures related to off-campus accommodation of international students.

3. Students who live off-campus shall, in accordance with the regulations of the public security department, bring the verified off-campus Accommodation Registration Form, passport or residence permit and other valid documents to the public security police station of their place of residence to fill in the Temporary Accommodation Registration Form within 24 hours after check-in.

Iv. The off-campus accommodation of international students shall be managed by Shenyang Public Security Department according to law. During the off-campus accommodation, international students must abide by Chinese laws, fulfill the lease agreement, respect Chinese customs and social ethics, pay particular attention to maintaining a quiet living order, and prohibit noise and disturbance to the public. It is necessary to enhance its own safety awareness and assume full responsibility for its own personal and property safety and behavioral activities. A written warning will be given to a foreign student who causes a neighbor to complain once because of the disturbance. Those who complain twice will be placed on probation or above.

5. If there is a change in the off-campus residential address, the above relevant procedures must be completed again. If international students do not apply for and handle off-campus accommodation procedures, they will be regarded as unauthorized off-campus accommodation, and the university and the public security department will deal with it according to law.
