Degree Awarded:Bachelor of Management Profile: This program takes a broad view of tourism management, exploring the challenges relevant to a wide range of situations that managers and other professionals are likely to face.The program intensive but generalist approach prepares you for a wide range of careers in travel and tourism. Our graduates are often employed in official tourist organizations, transport providers, hotels, tour operating and travel agencies and government organizations.
Education Objectives:
You will develop your academic skills and knowledge, and learn approaches to management decision-making and critical evaluation. Importantly, the program has a practical focus on the managerial and strategic issues in the rapidly developing tourism industry.
Job Prospects: Program alumni are found to have brilliant skills and sophisticated communication skills in Chinese, and are thus warmly welcomed by large multinational corporations, trade companies and financial departments inChina, as well as the home countries of the students. There are also some graduates working for family firms and are committed to their business relations withChina. This course provides the option to take a paid year internship & working in industry.Placement Internship students earn a allowance, typically over $2,000-6,000 per annum, and many are offered a permanent job ,typically over $5,000-75,000 with their host company when they graduate. Core Courses:Project-based learning using CDIIO concepts is implemented throughout the curriculum. Precisely designed projects help our students to develop real-world problem-solving and communication skills, as well as teamwork spirit.

Shandong Jiaotong University is situated in Jinan, the city of springs. Shandong Jiaotong University, began to take shape in 1956. In 1958, it was named Shandong Communications College. In March of 2002, with approval of the Ministry of Education, it was renamed Shandong Jiaotong University.The University is one of the few universities in China that is closely related to Jiaotong industry.

The university consists of 13 schools, namely, School of Maritime, School of Automobile Engineering, School of Transportation & Logistics Engineering, School of Civil Engineering, School of Material Science & Electric Engineering, School of Mechanical Engineering, School of Management, School of Finance & Economics, School of Foreign Studies, School of Humanity & Law, School of Science, Northern International School, as well as 4 teaching sections, namely, Social Science Teaching Department, Physical Education Teaching Department, Continual Education College, and Vocational Technical College. The university has developed into a multi-discipline higher education institution and offers 43 Bachelor Degree programs spreading in 6 discipline categories, namely, engineering, science, management, economics, law, and arts. And now the university has become the only institution that mainly fosters talents on water and land transportation majors.

During the past 56 years, the school has fostered 60, 000 graduates and trained 50,000 managers and engineering technicians for transportation industry.
