Stomatology

Founded in 1949, Shenyang Medical College, a full-time undergraduate college, gained A in the evaluation for undergraduate teaching by the MOE in 2007.The friendly relationship between the College and more than ten universities and research institutions of the USA, the UK, Canada, Australia, Holland and Japan has been established. From 2004, the college began to enroll international students, and there are 168 international students from Nepal, India, Pakistan and other countries are studying on campus. The most attractive course MBBS is vailable there and is English-taught. Besides, the college has seven affiliated hospitals which can offer you great opportunity to practice your ability.

Biochemistry, Physiology, Medical Immunology, medical microbiology, Experiment of medical functional science, Pathology, pharmacology, clinical diagnostics, oral anatomical physiology, oral histology and pathology, internal medicine, surgery, Cariology And Endodontics, Periodontics, oral mucosal disease study, oral and maxillofacial surgery, prosthodontics, orthodontics, prevention of oral medicine.

Graduates acquire following knowledge and ability

1.Basic theoretical knowledge and experimental skills of preclinical medicine and clinical medicine
2.Basic theoretical knowledge and clinical operational skills of various disciplines of Stomatology;
3.Dentistry common disease diagnosis, treatment and initial processing of urgent, difficult, severe symptom;
4.A basic knowledge of dental work and general skills;
5.Mastering medical literature search, the basic method of data survey, with initial capacity of oral medical research.

Internship and Employment

A total of 3,541 graduates of our school graduate in 2012, of which a total of 42 graduates of doctoral students, graduate students were 883 (including 27 foreign students, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan regions student 4), a total of 191 seven-year Accelerated Degree Graduation students, 2425 of undergraduate and the specialist graduates (including 825 Zhongshan College graduates). There are more than 90 graduates from the Stomatology employed by hospital in different provinces.

Accommodation and Service

Life on campus is very convenient and safe. Most Chinese students will choose to live in the dormitories on campus because of its reasonable prices, complete facilities and safe surroundings. Shenyang Medical College provide international students dormitories for foreign students. Usually there are single-room, double-room and suites dormitories for foreign students. The students can choose what they like. Most of the dormitories are equipped with necessary facilities including internet access, TV, basic furniture, toilet, telephone or even kitchens. Universities in the north also provide heaters in winter. As to the fees it is quite reasonable.
