Students in this major mainly study computer hardware, software and basic theory, knowledge and skills, grasp basic ability for computer application system design and analysis, master basic ability for researching and developing computer software and hardware application technology, know about laws and regulations on computer, as well as the development trend of computer technology, and are able to adapt to the social demand on the rapid development of computer application and computer technology, and constantly update and expand professional knowledge.

Nanchang Hangkong University, also Nanchang Aviation University, is located in Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province, People's Republic of China. It is an engineering-based multidisciplinary university. It was Nanchang Institute of Aeronautical Technology and it was renamed in Feb. 2007. It is a higher education institute with a distinctive feature of aeronautics and national defense under the joint supervision of Jiangxi Provincial Government and Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China. NCHU has over 1,200 professional teachers. At present, the total number of registered students is 21,000, of whom 19,000 undergraduates, 1,095 postgraduates, and over 1,200 vocational students. NCHU gives priority to the all-around development of students as well as the quality of education and directs its efforts to teaching innovations. As a result, it has made great achievements in the cultivation of talents and its employment rate of graduate ranks first in Jiangxi Province.

Introduction

The dormitory for foreign students is located on campus of Nanchang Hangkong University. Both two-bed rooms and one-bed rooms are available. Each room has a private bath,  air conditioning, bookshelves, standard size wardrobes, a fridge. There are washing machines for public use.

3 Steps to Apply to a Chinese University

1. Applicant must be non-Chinese citizen, obey laws of the People’s Republic of China, and abide by rules and disciplines of NCHU after enrolled;

2. Applicant of undergraduate program must be senior high school students under the age of 22 with healthy body and excellent character and learning;

3. Applicant of master program must be undergraduate students under the age of 30 with healthy body and excellent character and learning.

4.Students applying for English-taught majors must be proficient in English listening, speaking, reading and writing, and able to successfully read the textbooks and materials for the major.

3. Senior high school graduation certificate and academic transcript issued by applicant’s senior high school or college entrance exam transcript

5. Certificate of capital source for the period of studying in China offered by the applicant

A: RMB 0 in the first year, and RMB 3000-5000 in the second to third year

B: The first year, the second year will pay 50% of the tuition fee, and the third year will have the opportunity to reduce the tuition fee by 3000/5000
