Civil Engineering (Autumn Intake)

The degree courses are: Elementary Chinese, Survey of China, Intermediate Chinese, Advanced Math, Physics, Theoretical Mechanics, Building materials, Material Mechanics, Structural Mechanics, Soil Mechanics & Foundation Engineering, Concrete Structure, Steel Structure, and Architecture Construction.

Diploma Awarded:

The qualified students will be awarded the Bachelor Degree of Engineering.

Buck, the famous American woman writer who was awarded the Nobel Prize for literature in 1938, spent her childhood, adolescence and youth in Zhenjiang, therefore, most of her works were stamped with the influence of local culture.

3 Steps to Apply to a Chinese University

1. Be in good health condition, which accords with the Health Standard for International Students stipulated by the China Education Department.

2. Have senior high school diploma and good academic record.

3. Have basic Chinese language ability for non-English courses.

4. Have good moral character and obey the laws and regulations of the Chinese government and regulations of the university. Respect Chinese social customs and habits.

5. Applicants who apply for bachelor programs conducted in English should have certain English proficiency.     

1. Scanned page of the first page of the passport (valid later than March 31, 2026), and scanned copies of all China-related visas and residence permits for those who have experience in China;

2.Original or notarized high school graduation certificate, fresh graduates need to provide a pre-graduation certificate issued by their school (graduation time should be earlier than September 10, 2025). Graduation certificate must be handed in upon registration;

3. Original or notarized transcripts of all senior high school courses;

4. Applicants who teach in English need to provide a copy of IELTS, TOEFL or Duolingo transcript with an IELTS score of 5.5 or above, a TOEFL score of 80 or above, or a Duolingo score of 100 or above;

5.Self-statement: Submit a self-statement of your intention to study in China (no less than 800 words) in Chinese or English. The content should include personal study and work experience, motivation to study in China, reasons for major selection, personal development goals after graduation, etc.

6. Foreigner physical examination form: The applicant shall strictly follow the items listed in the form for examination, the examination results are valid for 6 months;

7. Proof of financial ability (one of the following documents: proof of family savings, proof of family real estate, proof of income of parents/guardians, $5,000 and above is recommended);

8. No criminal record certificate, valid for 6 months.
