In order to help students to familiarize themselves to life and study at KUST, we provide private tutors to help students with their life and study issues. KUST also encourages students to participate in extra-curriculum activities and provide opportunities for students to communicate with other Chinese students.

1. School of International Programs reserves all the rights in case of any changes of the above information.
2. KUST rewards a RMB 510 thousand Comprehensive Medical Insurance of Foreign Students in China to each of undergraduate foundation students, degree students, degree visiting students and language students who study 20 hours a week after they have paid tuition fee for at least one semester in lump sum payment.

3 Steps to Apply to a Chinese University

An international applicant shall have a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent

1. Certificate of HSK
   Certificate of HSK (Chinese Proficiency Test)
2. Photocopy of valid passport
   With name, passport number & expiration date, and photo included
3. Passport photo
   A recent passport-sized photo of the applicant
4. Letter of recommendation
   From professor or associate professor or equivalents
5. Undergraduate school transcript
6. Bachelor's degree diploma
   Graduation certificate in languages other than Chinese or English should be translated into Chinese or English and be certified by notarization.
