Located in Chang'an, the historical and cultural city of Xi'an, Chang'an University is directly under the administration of Ministry of Education (MOE) in China.CAU provides Chinese language, Chinese history and civil engineering. CAU began to enroll foreign students in 1956. It has trained more than 1,000 students from over 20 countries. Chang’an University has set up communication and co operations with 110 colleges ,universities and research institutions from the United States, Russia and other countries and regions

The subject of Architecture will cultivate high-level professional talents with wide knowledge, solid foundation, high comprehensive and professional quality as well as creativity, who are also well developed in moral, intellectual, fitness and aesthetic perception, to meet the requirements of China’s socialist modernization. The cultivation objectives will emphasize on technical expertise in architecture design, professional quality in town & country planning and landscape architecture design, and extensive occupationaladaptability.

The graduates will be capable of engaging in the project planning, project design and construction drawing design work concerning architecture design, town & country planning, landscape architecture design, or engaging in the theoretical work, teaching jobs and management work concerning architecture professionalfield.

CAU DORM:

DOUBLE ROOM: ￥600/month (language student, bachelor, master)
SINGLE ROOM: ￥800/month (doctors)

3 Steps to Apply to a Chinese University

1. Non-Chinese citizens, in good health;
2. Abide by Chinese laws and regulations, respect Chinese customs and habits. Observe Chang’anUniversity discipline and school regulations;
3. Education and age requirements of the applicants:
(1) Those pursuing undergraduate majors must have a high school diploma and be under 25 years old;
(2) Those pursuing a master's degree must have a bachelor's degree and be under 35 years old;
(3) Those pursuing a doctorate must have a master's degree and be under the age of 40.
4. Non-other scholarship recipients.

1.             A clearly scanned copy of the personal information page on the valid passport in color.

2.             A clearly scanned copy of the high school graduation certificate.

3.             A scanned copy of the high school academic transcript for the entire high school period.

4.             Proof of Chinese or English proficiency (HSK; IELTS, TOEFL, Duolinguo, SAT, GRE and other proofs of English proficiency)

5.             Physical Examination Certificate issued within the last 6 months

6.             Non-criminal record certificate issued within last 6 months

7.             Bank statement
