Located in Chang'an, the historical and cultural city of Xi'an, Chang'an University is directly under the administration of Ministry of Education (MOE) in China.CAU provides Chinese language, Chinese history and civil engineering. Civil engineering in the school of highway is a science and technology for designing and constructing various infrastructure such as houses, bridges, tunnels, urban underground space etc. The civil engineering discipline of Chang'an University was established in 1953. It is one of the earliest disciplines of the “211 Project” and “985 Project Advantage Discipline Innovation Platform”, and is also the construction content of "world-class disciplines" and "first-class disciplines in Shaanxi Province". In the early 1980s, geotechnical engineering was one of the earliest disciplines in China to train foreign students in engineering. In 2003, “Structural Engineering” and “Bridge and Tunnel Engineering” received the right to confer doctoral degrees. In 2006, the right to grant a doctoral degree in civil engineering was granted. In 2007, a postdoctoral research station was established. 3 Steps to Apply to a Chinese University

1.Above 18 years old, under 25 years old, good health

2. Completion of high school or equivalent with a pass or above in all subjects on your transcript. Students who have not obtained a high school diploma are required to submit a pre-graduation certificate.

3.Toefl 80 or above; Ielts 6.0 or above; Duolingo scores 100 or above; Or equivalent English proficiency certificate, such as EF

4.If the previous study period was taught in Chinese or English, you can submit the corresponding teaching language proof, and the language achievement certificate is waived.

1. Valid ordinary passport. If the applicant is in China, a valid residence permit is also required.

2. Highest degree certificate (fresh graduates should provide pre-graduation certificate, and they should bring paper graduation certificate when they register in China in September);

3. Academic transcripts;

4. Foreigner Physical Examination Record

5. Proof of no criminal record within the validity period. If the applicant is already in China, he/she only needs to provide proof of school performance or no disciplinary violation issued by the current institution;

6. Proof of language proficiency;

7. Study plan (undergraduate) or research plan (postgraduate);

8. Two letters of recommendation signed by (associate) professors (undergraduate students are exempt);

9. Letter of acceptance from the tutor (submission is not mandatory, but the applicant will consider priority admission);

10. Can submit: academic achievements [very important], various kinds of cultural and sports activities award certificate.
