International Students Appear at the Opening Ceremony of the 41st Games of Wenzhou University

An international student from Angola, TAVIRA JENNIFER PRISCILADA CUNHA, surprised the audience with a song titled “I love you, China” at the grand opening of the 41stsports meeting of Wenzhou university on the morning of October 25. She was joined by nearly 100 international students from more than 30 countries , including South Africa, Germany, Italy and Russia.

This year, Wenzhou University welcomed more than 170 international students from 53 countries, who came here to study and pursue further studies with their hopes and expectations for the ancient oriental civilization.As the first stop of studying career, many people gave really good comments and appraisals to Wenzhou and Wenzhou university.DAVID KEEGAN ROWAN, from south Africa said “I have fallen deeply in love with this place since I came to Wenzhou. Although I am far away from my country, I never felt homesick. Wenzhou is now like a family to me now. The scenery here is beautiful, people are very kind and friendly. On the day when I enrolled at Wenzhou University ,I received sincere help from my class mate and teachers.” As a large-scale campus event, many international freshmen were also participating for the first time. They had a great interest in it and came to International Education School for registration and performance rehearsal,expecting to show the best side of international students to everyone.
