In 2016, it was listed as a first-class discipline first-class discipline in mechanical engineering and a professional degree program in mechanical engineering, and was listed as a first-class discipline in Zhejiang Province in the "13th Five-Year Plan" in 2016, and its engineering discipline entered the top 1% of ESI in the world, which is one of the key construction disciplines of the school.

The discipline has five research directions, including laser processing theory and equipment, intelligent manufacturing and robot technology, mechatronics and control technology, fault diagnosis and reliability design, and new energy and intelligent vehicles, of which laser processing theory and equipment are the characteristic research directions. The discipline focuses on the construction of Wenzhou National Independent Innovation Demonstration Zone and China (Wenzhou) Laser and Optoelectronic Industry Cluster, extensively carries out international scientific and technological cooperation with well-known universities and research institutions in the United States, Russia, South Korea, Singapore and other countries, has 10 national provincial and ministerial platforms such as the National International Science and Technology Cooperation Base, Zhejiang Provincial Key Laboratory, Zhejiang Collaborative Innovation Center, Zhejiang Engineering Laboratory, and presides over 46 national scientific research projects, including 4 key projects (National Natural Science Foundation of China Joint Fund Key Project, Intergovernmental Key Special Project for International Science and Technology Cooperation and National 863 High-tech Development Plan), won 15 provincial and ministerial science and technology awards (ranked 1), including 3 provincial and ministerial first prizes and 4 second prizes.

3 Steps to Apply to a Chinese University

1.Non-Chinese citizens with a valid passport

3.Two Recommendation letters ( only for Master applicant)

4.Certificate of English proficiency test

*IELTS or TOEFL will only be required if the applicant is not a native English speaker (A minimum score should be obtained as follows: IELTS 6.0, TOEFL iBT70, or TOEFL paper based 550 ）

5.Applicants to Chinese programs must pass HSK grade 5 or above

6.A photocopy of your passport.

7.Bank statement (normally the balance is enough for your first year tuition fee and accommodation fee )

8.No Criminal Report (if necessary)

9.Health report ( within the validation period)

10.Recommendation letters from two experts (assistant porfessors, associate professors, or professors)

11.Self-introduction vedio

12.Study Plan of no less than 1000 words.

Master degree:
The scholarship covers 30,000 RMB/Year.
