Zhejiang University of Science and Technology (ZUST) is a multi-disciplinary university with emphasis on engineering, incorporating disciplines in science, arts, economics, management, and education. Single Room: RMB 1200 /month (1-student shared), including water bill and internet bill. Electricity bills should be paid by the student themselves.
Double Room: RMB 600 /month/person (2-student shared), including water bill and internet bill. Electricity bills should be paid by students themselves.
Room Deposit: RMB 1000. It will be returned if all equipment is in good condition when students check out.

Each room contains a bed, wardrobe, desk, chair, bookshelf, TV, refrigerator, air conditioner, heater, and shower. A public washing machine room and public kitchen is available for student use in the dormitory.

Living Off Campus:

1) Applicant should be aged between 18 and 45;
2) Applicant should be in good health;
3) Applicants should be non-Chinese citizens. Foreign citizens of Chinese origin who are now applying to study in China as international students must have hel d a valid foreign passport for at least 4 years, and must have actually resided in a foreign country for at least 2 years in the past 4 years (as of Apri 30, 2023). (9 months of residence in a foreign country may count as a full year.);
4) Applicant needs to have a bachelor's degree and provide the bachelor's degree certificate and undergraduate transcript. Graduating student should provideb the pre-graduation certificate issued by the school they are studying in;
5)Good moral character and no criminal record; Willing to abide by the laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China and the relevant rules and regulations of the school; Provide drug-free commitment;
6) Applicant should have the language ability to attend the relevant courses. Applicant applying for English-taught programs is required to provide IELTS ( score 6 or above), TOEFL (score 85 or above )or other English proficiency certificates or pass the Entrance English Test of Zhejiang University of Science and Technology(ZUST). Applicant applying for Chinese-taught programs is required to provide HSK 5 certificate with a score of 180 or above.
7) All the applicants need to take the university entrance examination or assessment.
Applicant should log in to the online application website (http://isam.zust.edu.cn), fill in the information truthfully and upload the following application materials in the system as required:
1) Application Form for International Students of Zhejiang University of Science and Technology.
2) Scanned copy of passport and all visa pages in China.
3) Applicant should be foreign citizens. Foreign citizens of Chinese origin who are now applying to study in China as international students must have held a valid foreign passport for at least 4 years, and must have actually resided in a foreign country for at least 2 years in the past 4 years (as of April 30, the enrollment year) (9 months of residence in a foreign country may count as a full year).
4) Scanned copy of the notarized certificate of bachelor's degree (in Chinese or English); If the original certificate is not in English or Chinese, a notarized translation version is also required. Graduating students should provide pre-graduation certificate issued by the school they are studying in and summit the bachelor's degree certificate during qualification review.
5) Notarized transcripts including all courses during undergraduate period (in Chinese or English); if the original transcript is not in English or Chinese, a notarized translation version is also required.
6) Students applying for English-taught master programs and whose native language is not English are required to provide proof of English proficiency, such as IELTS, TOEFL or other English proficiency certificates, or pass the entrance English test of Zhejiang University of Science and Technology.
7) Students applying for Chinese-taught master programs are required to provide proof of Chinese proficiency of HSK Level 5≥180.
8) Students already in China should provide transfer letter or study certificate given by the previous school with attendance rate and study performance.
9) Certificate of no criminal record; no drug use or drug-related commitment letter.
10) Proof of bank remittance of application fee (400 RMB or 60 USD).
11) Letter of financial guarantee (provide proof of deposit of an equivalent amount for at least one academic year of tuition).
12) Valid Foreigner Physical Examination Report.
