Located in Wuhan, a city renowned as "the Thoroughfare Leading to Nine Provinces", Wuhan University of Technology is a national key university under the direct administration of the Ministry of Education, covers an extensive range of disciplines. Of all, the English-medium degree programs, such as bachelor's degree program Industrial Engineering, master's degree programs Material Science and Engineering, Civil Engineering, Economics, Industrial Engineering and MBA and doctoral degree program Economics have taken the lead, attracting an increasingly growing number of International students worldwide. All in all, WUT will be a good choice for International students to study in China!

Objective: This project is undertaken by School of Economics of WUT. It aims at training students abilities of research and application in fields like Economic Development, Industrial Organization, International Trade, Investment, Environment and Resources and Financial Management.The team of teachers is composed of professors graduate from distinguished universities in Europe and USA (such as Yale University and Oxford University). They are all experienced in teaching and direction international students. Distinguished Nobel Prize winners –Professore Robert A. Mundell from Columbia University and Professor Clive W.F.Granger both came to the school of Economics to give lectures.

Research Orientation: Industrial organizations and enterprises competition, development strategy and planning of regional economies, international investigation and management of multinational companies, financial innovation and financial engineering, as well as environmental and resource economics

Bachelor’s in Business Administration at Wuhan University of Technology (WHUT)

Aims to foster professional middle and advanced business administration talents with the expertise and ability of management, economics, law, corporate strategic planning, image design, production operation, logistics planning and supply chain management. The graduated students should be familiar with the characteristic of enterprise and market economy in China, competent to engage in planning and the operation and management work of enterprises, institutions and government departments, and able to independently engage in teaching and research activities. Besides, these talents are required to have innovation ability, practical ability, competitiveness, good communication, and strong affinity in order to adapt to the development of the market economy.

Single room with a personal bathroom, air conditioner, refrigerator, telephone and internet access, and public kitchen, washing room, TV and computers: 12,000 RMB / year or 40RMB / day.

Twin-bed room with bathroom, air conditioner, refrigerator, telephone and internet access, and public kitchen, washing room, TV and computers: 7,500 RMB / bed / year or 25RMB / day.

3 Steps to Apply to a Chinese University

Non-Chinese, who haven’t broken laws, are required to have master degree.

1. Health certificate
   Photocopy of notarized foreigner physical examination record (for durations of study over 6 months)
2. Photocopy of valid passport
   With name, passport number & expiration date, and photo included
3. Passport photo
   A recent passport-sized photo of the applicant
4. Master's degree diploma
   Graduation certificate in languages other than Chinese or English should be translated into Chinese or English and be certified by notarization.
5. Letter of recommendation
   From professor or associate professor or equivalents
6. Research plan
7. Postgraduate school transcript
