Duration & Academic year & Educational system of SWMU : 5 to 5.5 years including 1 to 1.5 years compulsory internship. The internship can be finished in Chinese hospitals or in hospitals of your own country. The program will be conducted on six months semester

basis. Therefore the total academic semesters will be 10 to 11 including internship. SWMU provides International teachers especially from South Asian countries such as Pakistan,India,Bangladesh and Nepal with MBBS and BDS programs so as to provide high quality education, advanced teaching equipments, co-operative administration and innovative teaching methodology.

Schools and Affiliated Hospitals:

 SWMU now has ten schools which are Basic Medicine School, Clinical Medicine School, School of Clinical Medicine for the Handicapped, School of Stomatology, School of Nursing, School of Medical Humanities, School of Adult Education and others. SWMU still has five provincial key subjects, which are clinical medine and surgery,medical immunology, stomatology, clinical nutrition supporting center (Hepatobiliary Surgery), Internal Medicine and Anthropotomy CHistology - Embryology. SWMU has nine affiliated hospitals (including three directly-affiliated hospital). SWMU issues two journals Hospital Statistics and Wanjie Medical University Transactions, which are published in China and abroad.

Teaching Staff:

 At present, there are 1100 teaching staff of which more than 506 have got advanced professional titles and 500 have got doctor and master degrees. There are 5supervisors for doctoral students and nearly 205 for master students. There are 30 topnotch professionals at provincial and municipal levels20 middle-aged and youth academic backbone at provincial level or above11 members with national allowance. Postgraduate Programs:

 Shandong Wanjie Medical University offers twelve master degree programs: Anatomy -Histology-Embryology; Immunology; Stomatology; Pathology & Pathophysiology and so on.

Undergraduate Programs:

The university offers thirteen bachelors undergraduate programs including clinical medicine, stomatology, nursing, biotechnology, traditional Chinese medicine, biotechnology, information management and information systems, anesthesiology, forensic medicine for legal case and so on.
 
 
 

Accommodation

SWMU provides hostel to the international students.SWMU hostel can accommodate to 1,2,3 studnts in aroom.And there are common areas where students can play and mingle.All rooms are equipped with beds,mattress,pillows,blankets,desks,chairs,central heaters,water heaters,internet lines,cup_boards,telephones,Televisions and suitable lighting for both study and relaxation.And the hostels are given good protection by security agencies and police booths in the Universities.There is a public kitchen in WUMU and international students can cook their native food as they like and SWMU is also going to provide separate dining hall for overseas students.Besides,the attached room will offer 24-hour hot water to take shower.
