Founded in 1956 and located in the cradle of Ancient Qi Culture-Zibo City of Shandong Province, Shandong University of Technology (hereafter referred to as SDUT) is, under the leadership of the People’s Government of Shandong Province.In both 2008 and 2009, SDUT also received one National Second Prize for Progress in Science and Technology. Besides, it has established friendly and cooperative relationship with over 40 institutions of higher education in the U.S.A., UK, ROK, Russia, Australia, New Zealand, etc. Exchange and cooperation agreements have been reached with them.

Shandong University of Technology has been energetically developing international student education since its foundation. Thanks to a team of qualified teachers, we have accumulated much experience and have made rapid progress. At present, our international student education is focused on the long and short-term language programs, with each having its own emphasis. The short-term education programs concentrate on listening and speaking to improve the students' ability to listen and speak. As regards the long-term language programs, elementary, intermediate and advanced classes are set up respectively according to the students' language level. Besides, HSK tutorial lessons are also available. When the students shall go to study for majors in different schools.

Introduction

Shandong University of Technology has two campuses: the west campus and the east campus. The International Student's Apartment Building is located in the east campus. It provides international students with comfortable rooms, both double and single. Each room is equipped with a telephone, central heating, air conditioning, internet access, water heating machine, toilet/shower and public facilities like kitchen, refrigerator, laundry and leisure rooms. Students may dine in the university canteen which will cost about 20-40 RMB each day or may also cook in the kitchen or go to restaurants outside the university.

The accommodation’s price is approximately 25-50 RMB/Day.

5.  With age under 40

1.  Photocopy of valid passport
With photo, passport number &expiration date and name included.

2.  Passport-sized photo
A passport-sized photo taken recently of the applicant.

3.  Graduation certificate of high school
Graduation certificate should be in Chinese or English.If not, it should be translated into Chinese or English and be notarized.

4.  Academic transcript of high school

5.  HSK Certificate (No need for English-taught program)
Level 3 or above

6.  Health certificate(optional)
Photocopy of physical examination record
