3 Steps to Apply to a Chinese University

1.The applicant has excellent academic performance, a clear purpose for studying in Guangdong, and has formulated a clear study plan based on the major Settings of the intended university and in combination with his/her own interests and professional strengths.

2. To apply for undergraduate education in Guangdong, applicants must have obtained a high school diploma or above from their home country, be under 30 years old, and provide a recommendation letter from the principal and one teacher of the high school they graduated from. Applicants with a high school diploma or above should provide two recommendation letters from professors or associate professors of their original school. And the transcript confirmed by the graduating school.

3. To apply for master's degree education in Guangdong, applicants must hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent, be under 35 years old, and provide two recommendation letters from professors or associate professors during their bachelor's degree education and a transcript confirmed by the university they graduated from.

4. To apply for doctoral education in Guangdong, applicants must hold a master's degree or equivalent, be under 40 years old, and provide two recommendation letters from professors or associate professors during their master's education, as well as a transcript confirmed by the university they graduated from.

(1) A foreigner's ordinary passport with a validity of more than one year or a currently valid visa in China.

(2) Highest academic degree certificate (original and notarized in Chinese or English). Fresh graduates can provide a pre-graduation certificate issued by their university. Those who fail to obtain their graduation certificates before enrollment will have their admission qualifications revoked.

(3) A complete official transcript of the study stage provided by the highest academic degree school (original and notarized in Chinese or English).

(4) Personal statement and a brief research plan (within 800 words). Applicants for doctoral programs are also required to submit a brief research experience.

(5) Two recommendation letters from associate professors or those with corresponding professional titles or above.

Applicants who studied in China during their previous educational stage are required to provide proof of their performance at school.

(7) A pre-approval letter for acceptance issued by the graduate supervisor of the intended major (Attachment 3). Those who have not yet determined the pre-accepted supervisor and meet the application requirements will enter the interview and assessment process in accordance with the relevant regulations of the school's postgraduate recruitment.

(8) Physical examination report (The examination results must have a valid official seal and be valid for 6 months).

(9) There are additional materials to be supplemented as per the notice.

(1) Scholarships for International Students currently enrolled.

This scholarship is used to reward foreign students who have received bachelor's degree or above (including bachelor's degree) education in Guangdong and have excellent academic performance and moral conduct. 

The scholarship standard is as follows: 30,000 RMB per person for doctoral students. Master's degree candidates, RMB 20,000 per person; Undergraduate students, RMB 10,000 per person. (Unit: RMB yuan, the same below)

(2) Scholarships for newly recruited international Students. 

This scholarship is used to reward foreign students who apply to come to Guangdong for undergraduate and above (including undergraduate) degree education and have outstanding academic performance upon registration. 

The scholarship standard is as follows: 30,000 yuan per person for doctoral students. Master's degree candidates, 20,000 yuan per person; Undergraduate students, 10,000 yuan per person. Students who receive the newly recruited international student scholarship can apply for the scholarship in the following year after enrollment in accordance with the scholarship procedures for current international students. Under the same conditions, they will be given priority for approval.
