Objective This objective is to train students to obtain good moral characters, solid pedagogic theory; have strong ability to practice pedagogy-related teaching and research; have acquaintance with the history of education in China and foreign countries and the recent development of educational reform in China and abroad. After graduation, students will be able to work in the fields of pedagogy-related teaching and research of primary and secondary education, serve as guidance advisers on psychological healthy in primary and middle schools, or as educational administrative staff or as professional personnel working in the sections of educational news, publishing or media for educational development. Meanwhile, students are trained to lay for solid foundation for further advanced studies in Principles of Education, Curriculum and Teaching Methodology, History of Education in China and Foreign Countries, Comparative Education, Foundational Education, etc.
Schooling Length In standards it lasts four years. The minimum of schooling length must be three years and its extension lasts no more than seven years.
Credits The minimum of 170 credits must be obtained for graduation.
