Program Introduction:

Medical Laboratory Tests and Analyses is a specimen of the patient's blood, body fluid, secretions, or exfoliative cells to make a test to obtain the data of pathogenic, pathological changes and organ function, and its specialty is the specialized subject of methods, principles and results analysis.

The major mainly study basic knowledge of basic medicine, clinical medicine and medical examination. They were trained by the medical test operation skills system and had the basic ability of clinical medical examination and health inspection.

Requirments:

1. Master basic theoretical knowledge of basic medicine and clinical medicine;

2. Master the basic theories and techniques of medical chemistry, molecular biology, immunology, pathogenic diagnostics and blood cell morphology, and understand the basic components and properties of the commonly used inspection instruments;

3. Having the basic ability of mathematical statistics and computer application;

4. Be familiar with the principles, policies and regulations related to national health work and main management of clinical trials;

5. Understand the development trend of theory and technology of medical laboratory frontier science;

6. Mastering the basic methods of literature retrieval and data investigation, and have certain scientific research and practical working ability.

Future career:

Students can work in medical inspection and medical laboratories at all levels of hospitals, medical research institutions, blood stations, disease control centers, R & D and production of extracorporeal diagnostic reagents, commodity inspection, environmental protection, customs quarantine and other departments.

About Dalian Medical University (DMU)

Dalian Medical University (DMU) was founded in 1947 and is the oldest formal medical college in the northeast of China. It was formerly known as Guandong Medical College but was changed to its current name when the People's Republic of China was founded. DMU was formally opened on May 4, 1947, with 203 students.

DMU is a multi-disciplinary medical university and one of the largest medical universities in China. It is also a popular education hub for international students who want to take an MBBS. Regulations for Foreign Student' s Dormitory

1. Please do check-in according to the allotted room. No room exchange is allowed yourself. Any requests, contact the warden.

2. No shouting in the dormitory. The sound of TV and Hi-Fi must be appropriate so others can have their privacy.

3. Do Not use electrical applicances with heavy voltage in the room for it will overload the circuit. No cooking and using heater in the room.

4. Keep personal property appropriately and safety in the Dormitory.

Do not leave great amount of cash in the room. Do Not lend the key to anybody.

5. No smoking, No buring, No dringking, No fighting in the room or in the dormitory.

6. Collect garbage in time, and put it into the bin outside of the dormitory. No littering. No throwing out of the window.

7. Do not remove or damage any public facility in Dormitory. Ig something is damaged, destroyed or smoked, an appropriate fine would be assessed. The warden has the right to check the rooms.

8. No animal feeding in the Dormitory.

9. Chinese students and visitors are Not allowed o enter into the dormitory.

10. No water and electricity should ba wasted. Switch off the tap and electricity if not in use, shut the windows and lock the door when you leave.

11. Students have to come back to Dormitory before 11:00 at night. If you have some special event, report to your teacher in-charge in advance, and register at warden' s office.

12. Register the passport or student ID card at warder's room when visiting other dormitory.
