3 Steps to Apply to a Chinese University

1. Must hold a bachelor's degree in a medical field or a related medical discipline, and be under 35 years old;

2. Non-Chinese citizens holding foreign ordinary passports;

3. In good health and with no criminal record;

4. Excellent academic performance during the undergraduate period, and two professors or associate professors' recommendations. For applications to medical-related majors, a HSK certificate (level 4 or above) is required.

1. Fill out the "Application Form for International Students to Enroll in Master's Programs at Shandong Second Medical University"

2. Copies of the "Foreign Physical Examination Form" and the "Self-Assessment Scale for Mental Health" (Please bring the original documents to the school for verification). Applicants should conduct the examinations strictly according to the items specified in the "Foreign Physical Examination Form". Any missing items, those without a photo attached or without a seam seal on the photo, or those without the signatures and stamps of a doctor and the hospital will be regarded as invalid. Given that the validity period of the examination results is 6 months, please applicants determine the time for the examination accordingly;

3. Notarized certificates of the highest academic degree and degree. For texts in languages other than Chinese and English, an annotated Chinese or English translation must be attached. Fresh graduates must submit a pre-graduation certificate;

Transcript of academic performance during the undergraduate stage, other documents that can prove research ability and comprehensive qualities, such as award certificates, published papers, etc.;

5. Personal statement. Applicants must submit a self-introduction, learning experience, purpose of studying in China, research plan, and personal development goals after graduation in Chinese or English, approximately 2,000 words, with the research plan section being no less than 1,000 words;

6. No criminal record certificate;

7. Chinese proficiency ability certificate (HSK level 4 or above);

8. Valid passport copy;

9. Original recommendation letters from two professors or associate professors of the undergraduate institution, written in Chinese or English (must have the signatures and contact information of the recommenders);

10. For applicants with work experience, please provide a notarized work certificate or other materials that can prove professional or personal background.
