3 Steps to Apply to a Chinese University

1. Basic Requirements: Good character, healthy physical condition, age between 18 and 28 years old, non-Chinese citizens holding foreign passports who have a high school diploma or above, abide by laws and regulations, and have certain financial capacity.

2. Academic Requirements: Follow the "Admission and Enrollment Work Procedures for International Students of Shandong Second Medical University". Our university will select the best candidates based on the applicant's high school grades, interview results, and admission test scores. Those with a foundation in Chinese are given priority.

3. Financial Guarantee Requirements: Applicants are required to submit the "International Student Financial Guarantee Letter of Shandong Second Medical University". The guarantor must provide a bank deposit certificate sufficient to cover the tuition, accommodation, and living expenses for studying in China.

1. Fill out the application form "Application Form for International Students of Shandong Second Medical University" (Just complete it in the system) "Foreigner's Physical Examination Form" (Please keep the original copies for verification upon arrival). 2. Health certificates "Vaccination Certificate", "Self-assessment Scale for Mental Health" (Please bring the original copies to the school for verification). Applicants should conduct the examinations according to the items required in the "Foreigner's Physical Examination Form". Any missing items, those without a photo attached or without a seam seal on the photo, or those without the signatures and stamps of a doctor and a hospital will be regarded as invalid. Given that the validity period of the physical examination results is 6 months, please arrange the examination time reasonably. 3. No Criminal Record Certificate

4. High School Diploma Certificate Original documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be accompanied by a notarized Chinese or English translation. Fresh graduates must submit a pre-graduation certificate. 5. Academic Transcript Academic transcripts for all courses in high school, original documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be accompanied by a notarized Chinese or English translation. During the application period, applicants who have obtained unified high school graduation examinations or university entrance examinations results in their home country/region should fill in and upload the original scanned copies in the system; applicants who have not obtained unified high school graduation examinations or university entrance examinations results in their home country/region should submit the high school academic transcript in the system. 6. English or Chinese Proficiency Certificate Such as HSK 4 level or above, TOEFL score of 80 or above, IELTS score of 5.5 or above, GRE score certificate.

7. Valid Passport Copy Copy of the passport with an expiration date covering the entire duration of the study program. 8. Economic Proof "Shandong Second Medical University International Student Economic Guarantee Letter", bank deposit certificate of the guarantor, guarantor's work certificate and passport copy.

9. Personal Statement Applicants must submit a self-introduction, learning experience, purpose of studying in China and future plans in Chinese or English, no less than 800 words.

10. Other Documents that can prove learning ability and comprehensive quality, such as award certificates, published papers, etc., should be uploaded to the system as required.
