China is home to many cities with centuries of history and a rich cultural heritage. These destinations offer opportunities to experience traditional architecture, historic sites, local customs, museums, and other aspects of China's cultural heritage while studying.

Luoyang, Kaifeng, Anyang, Datong, Pingyao, Qufu, Yangzhou, Shaoxing, Jingdezhen, Quanzhou, Zhenjiang, Ganzhou, Handan, Linfen, Yuncheng, Chaozhou, Jiujiang, and Huzhou.

Many of these cities have played important roles in China's history and are known for historic districts, traditional culture, crafts, architecture, or cultural heritage.
