Suited in the center of China Mainland, it has a Continental Monsoon Climate with four distinct seasons-a warm
but uncertain spring, a torrid and wet summer, a cool and rainy autumn and a dry and cold winter. The all-year average
temperature is 13.5C (56.3F). The city has a moderate rainfall mainly contributed by the frequent rainstorm in summer
and a succession of overcast and rainy days in autumn. The warm and pleasant spring time from March to May is the
best season during the year for traveling to Xian. The early autumn from September to October with cool weather and
less rainfall is also a good time.
