The Division of International Cooperation (DIC) of Yanshan University is the university’s service department for the administration of foreign affairs and the development of international programs of the university. The division fulfills many duties: constituting university’s strategic plans for international cooperation; providing of consultation and advice on the university’s foreign policy; coordinating of university’s foreign activities; establishing, developing and maintaining contact and cooperation between Yanshan University and overseas universities and institutions; employment and administration of foreign teachers; receiving and organizing visits of foreign delegates; transacting the procedures and formalities of faculty and students from the university that go abroad; hosting and sponsoring international scientific cooperation and conferences, etc.
In recent years, the international collaboration of Yanshan University has developed steadily. The university consistently employs 20 foreign experts on a yearly basis. Our experts come from US, UK, Japan, Russia, Germany, Canada, etc. The university has established close ties with overseas universities and institutes, which have helped to open new and wider cooperative prospects for the university.
The Division of International Cooperation and the College of International Exchange run as two separate divisions but are administrated with the same team of office members, with the Director of the DIC also holding the position of the Dean of CIE.

Dining
students can choose a variety of food and dishes or local cuisine from the four cafeterias on campus, or from the fast food center on the first floor of the Yanda Hotel adjacent to the Foreign Apartments where our foreign teachers and students stay. The cost for food is estimated at 20 to 40 per day for one person.
Transportation
Lying on the western side of Hebei Avenue in Qinhudangdao City, Yanshan University enjoys easy and convenient city transportation to downtown Qinhuangdao, with Bus Services No. 6, No. 32 and No. 34 plying between busy business, shopping and entertainment areas. Taxi service is also readily available.
