If students choose to do internship in China, there’s no requirement on HSK Level, but the university will provide Chinese tutoring and organize Chinese Language Test to assure their language ability. The internship will be taken in the two affiliated hospitals of DLMEDU, which are provincial hospitals of Class A, Grade III, with a total of 3,000 beds and 118 clinical teaching bases. Both of them are up to leading domestic level in MDCT coronary artery imaging, Catheter ablation of af in treatment, Combine traditional Chinese and western medicine treatment of acute abdominal pain etc.
However, if students want to do the internship in other country, DLMEDU need to do an qualification evaluation on the chosen hospital.
And, students should come back to the college in the second half of the 6th year to complete their graduation thesis and take the final examination on Theory Test and Clinical Evaluation.

MBBS Degree: Upon graduation, there is no requirement on HSK Level for students to get the diploma. On completing the requirements of the teaching program and passing the graduation examinations successfully, international medical undergraduates will be granted a graduation certificate and conferred a medical degree by the DLMEDU, if they meet the degree regulations of the university. The English copy of the degree will state MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery).
After obtaining MBBS Degree, the graduates can apply to take the medical licensing examination in the medical council in order to get registered and practice medicine. According to the regulations in different countries, the students may need to do the degree accreditation first. A MBBS degree holder can find jobs in government as well as private hospitals, nursing homes and other health facilities. Except this, one can also start his own clinic or pursue study for master’s degree.

Dalian Medical University (DMU) was founded in 1947 and is the oldest formal medical college in the northeast of China. It was formerly known as Guandong Medical College but was changed to its current name when the People's Republic of China was founded. DMU was formally opened on May 4, 1947, with 203 students.
DMU is a multi-disciplinary medical university and one of the largest medical universities in China. It is also a popular education hub for international students who want to take an MBBS. DMU has more than a thousand overseas students from 82 different countries studying different degree programs.
DMU was one of the first few universities in China that offered the MBBS degree. Its medical degree is recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO) and many medical authorities in foreign countries. DMU is the national demonstration base of international students by the Ministry of Education. It is also one of the first batches of 30 universities that were allowed to offer English-based courses in MBBS, Oral Medicine, Nursing and more. AccommodationThe university has 4 independent international student apartment buildings with 680 rooms, all equipped with independent bathrooms, which can meet the needs of international students. If you want to stay off-campus, you may also do so. There are many hostels, hotels, and apartments around the campus. For hostels, the cost ranges from 5300 to 8000 RMB/YEAR depending on your room type. Apartments can cost up to 24000 to 49000 RMB/YEAR. To save, you can share with other students and divide the cost. Lastly, hotels can cost your 12,000 to 22,000 RMB/YEAR depending on your room.

Admissions Process Entry RequirementsThe applicant should be above 18 years old, mental and physical healthy, has completed the senior high school course with good marks (above 60%), has solid financial support to afford the study and living expenses in China. Chemistry, physics, biology, English are compulsory subjects, maths is a reference subject for admission evaluation.

Applicants should strictly check the items in accordance with the requirements of Physical Examination Record.pdf Incomplete records or those without the signature of the attending doctor, the official stamp of the hospital, or a sealed photograph of the applicants are invalid. The date shall be after October 1, 2023. The original piece is required during registration.
